Solar Energía Tres Hermanos – Tlaxcala

High quality, diversified technologies
and jurisdictions

Tlaxcala forms part of the highly industrialized Central Mexico economic corridor together with Puebla, Mexico City and the State of Mexico. The region supports extensive automotive manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, logistics, food processing and commercial industries that require reliable electricity supply.
Central Mexico represents the country’s largest concentration of electricity demand, with industrial activity continuing to expand alongside near-shoring initiatives attracting additional manufacturing investment into Mexico.

The project provides the following strategic benefits:

  • Supports increasing industrial electricity demand;
  • Improves supply reliability within the country’s largest economic region;
  • Complements existing transmission infrastructure;
  • Enhances renewable generation close to major load centres;
  • Assists CFE in meeting increasing commercial and manufacturing electricity requirements.

Given continued industrial investment across Central Mexico, long-term electricity demand is expected to remain structurally strong.
